Favourite Quotation
Hamlet is a very popular play by Skakespeare filled with many famous quotes. My favourite quote from Hamlet is "do you think I am easier to be played on than a pipe",by Hamlet to Horatio. Hamlet explains to his friend that he knows his motives and is not easily made a fool of.I agree with Hamlet completely, because there is nothing more embarrassing than being played a fool by someone that withheld your trust. Since Horatio does not have the skills to play an instrument he should not be confident in making a fool out of Hamlet.Staying one step ahead of another's game a person begins to know the other's motives and when the truth unfolds the player gets a taste of his own medicine. Hamlet reveals that he is not an instrument nor is he a fool.

Favorite Film Version
My favourite version of the Hamlet films, is the nintenth century Ken Branagh version. This film is more accurate to the play because it has similar lines and follows the scenes closely to the ones in the play. The actors are more suiting to their descriptions such as having a much younger Hamlet, that fits my personal description of the character. Unlike the Zefferelli and Almereyda versions, this one expresses more drama in the dialogue such as how Hamlet expresses his emotions profoundly and Ophelia's sorrow when she saw him pale and disheveled. Alot of the camera angles were shot from far away, making the viewer aware of Hamlet's lonesomeness at scenes of his soliloquys. In this version Hamlet is mainly dressed in black expressing his depression to the viewers; at his mother's wedding while everyone else is dressed in bright colours expressing their joy of the new engagement. I prefer this version of Hamlet the best because it seems more real and understandable making me aware of the character's dialogue through their dramatic roles and engaging my interest as well!
